Quotes on Race

What's going on the left is a bit of a new twist. What you have is a coalition of different tribal identities that aren't large enough to marshal a force on their own and so they're united, and together they are a formidable force. But what's going to happen is that that's an unstable entity and at the point that that force gains power, it's going to come apart as the internal dynamics rip it up. It's not capable of restraining the version that recurs on the right, the version that does manifest as white nationalism. That version is stable because it does represent an actual population that has an evolutionary basis for remaining cohesive.

Bret Weinstein. Joe Rogan Experience #1006 - Jordan Peterson & Bret Weinstein

For millions of years, men lived close to Nature and nobody could get away with saying, "all cows are equal", "all hens are equal", "all dogs are equal" or even "all corn is equal". The constant and eternal FACT of ALL life was the INequality of all living things, both among individuals, and VARIETIES of individuals. No farmer could survive pretending all corn was equal, and he needed no scientist to tell him that certain breeds of dog, such as the shepherd, were more intelligent and capable in handling sheep, while other dogs might be less intelligent, but, like the husky, better by Nature at pulling. Nor did he give his daughter to inferior humanity.

Then, as men began to get away from Nature and live artificially in urban, mechanized complexes called "cities", they stopped seeing the lessons of Nature before them, and the chart-forgers found their opportunity.

No farmer, who bred chickens, cows, dogs, etc., and saw the natural inequalities in all the rest of Nature could be convinced of the crazy lie that breeding means everything in all the rest of creation but nothing among humans.

But the man born under anesthetics in a hospital, nursed out of a glass bottle, raised on cement and asphalt instead of grass and forests, fed out of cans and packages, and "educated" 100% out of books with no contact with the hard realities of Nature, could be and has been led to believe that "there are no such things as breeds of men".

George Lincoln Rockwell. White Power (1996)
Society has no business to permit degenerates to reproduce their kind. It is really extraordinary that our people refuse to apply to human beings such elementary knowledge as every successful farmer is obliged to apply to his own stock breeding. Any group of farmers who permitted their best stock not to breed, and let all the increase come from the worst stock, would be treated as fit inmates for an asylum. Yet we fail to understand that such conduct is rational compared to the conduct of a nation which permits unlimited breeding from the worst stock, physically and morally, while it encourages or connives at the cold selfishness or the twisted sentimentality as a result of which the men and women who ought to marry, and if married have large families, remain celebates or have no children or only one or two. Some day we will realize that the prime duty, the inescapable duty of the good citizen of the right type is to leave his or her blood behind him in the world! and that we have no business to permit the perpetuation of citizens of the wrong type. Theodore Roosevelt. 26th American President. In a letter to Charles B. Davenport. Quoted from American Philosophical Society. 1913
Our immigration laws, as at present administered, reflect a very proper care for the physical standard of the Canadian people. We are determined to produce a race as fine as any race has yet been; and so we refuse to permit degenerates to settle in this country. Gilbert Edward Jackson. Quoted in Journal of the Canadian Bankers' Association, Volume 21. 1914.
Race, as it is understood today in scientific terms, is largely an abstraction, and while it serves to explain much about society, history, and human behavior, it remains too much of an abstraction to generate much loyalty or motivate much action. The skeleton of race acquires concrete meaning and generates concrete loyalties only as it takes on cultural and political flesh, as race becomes tied up with community, kinship, nationality, territory, language, literature, art, religion, moral codes and manners, social class, and political aspirations. It is precisely such accretions that convert the biological abstraction of "race" into the concrete category of a "people." Samuel Francis, American Renaissance (March 1995)
No man will treat with indifference the principle of race. It is the key of history, and why history is often so confused is that it has been written by men who were ignorant of this principle and all the knowledge it involves... Language and religion do not make a race - there is only one thing which makes a race, and that is blood. Benjamin Disraeli (Former British Prime Minister), Endymion (1880)

A human race is a group of men more closely related to each other by physiological kinship than they are to the members of other races, because they have more nearly a common ancestry. The ancestral lines of the members of a single race draw together sooner than do those of different races. Of course, as has been shown, the lines of all races eventually draw together into a great common stock. It is obvious, then, that race is a relative term. All men are physiologically related to each other. All men have the same general ancestry, and no two men have an identical ancestry except brothers and sisters. The question of race is a question of degrees of relationship. It is not surprising, therefore, that there should be a wide difference in practice, even among scientific anthropologists, as to the degree of kinship which shall constitute a race.

Henry Pratt Fairchild. The Melting-Pot Mistake (1923)

A people will never die, if it remains eternally composed of the same national elements. If the empire of Darius had, at the battle of Arbela, been able to fill its ranks with Persians, that is to say with real Aryans; if the Romans of the later Empire had had a Senate and an army of the same stock as that which existed at the time of the Fabii, their dominion would never have come to an end. So long as they kept the same purity of blood, the Persians and Romans would have lived and reigned.

In the long run, it might be said, a conqueror, more irresistible than they, would have appeared on the scene; and they would have fallen under a well-directed attack, or a long siege, or simply by the fortune of a single battle. Yes, a State might be overthrown in this way, but not a civilization or a social organism. Invasion and defeat are but the dark clouds that for a time blot out the day, and then pass over.

... The hazard of war cannot destroy the life of a people. At most, it suspends its animation for a time, and in some ways shears it of its outward pomp. So long as the blood and institutions of a nation keep to a sufficient degree the impress of the original race, that nation exists.

Arthur de Gobineau. An Essay on the Inequality of the Human Races (1854)
Since organisms are survival machines for genes, by definition those genes that program organisms for successful reproduction will spread. To maximize their reproduction, genes program organisms to do two things: successfully compete against, and thereby hinder reproduction of, organisms that carry alternative alleles of the genes in question, and successfully cooperate with (and thereby contribute to the reproduction of) organisms that share the same alleles of the genes. In simpler terms, the degree of cooperation between organisms can be expected to be a direct function of the proportion of the genes they share: conversely, the degree of conflict between them is an inverse function of the proportion of shared genes. Pierre L. van den Berghe, The Ethnic Phenomenon
Frank Salter presents a powerful case for the adaptiveness of ethnocentrism. Different human ethnic groups and races have been separated for thousands of years, and during this period they have evolved some genetic distinctiveness. This genetic distinctiveness constitutes a storehouse of genetic interest.
In other words, people have an interest in their ethnic group in exactly the same way parents have a genetic interest in raising their children: In raising their children, parents ensure that their unique genes are passed on to the next generation. But in defending ethnic interests, people are doing the same thing--ensuring that the genetic uniqueness of their ethnic group is passed onto the next generation. When parents of a particular ethnicity succeed in rearing their children, their ethnic group also succeeds because the genetic uniqueness of their ethnic group is perpetuated as part of their child's genetic inheritance. But when an ethnic group succeeds in defending its interests, individual members of the ethnic also succeed because the genetic uniqueness that they share with other members of the ethnic group is passed on. This is the case for people who don't have children: A person succeeds genetically when his ethnic group as a whole prospers. Kevin McDonald
Men are generally more careful of the breed of their horses and dogs than of their children. William Penn
A nation may reason, "Why burden ourselves with the rearing of children? Let them perish unborn in the womb of time. The immigrants will keep up the population." A people that has no more respect for its ancestors and no more pride of race than this deserves the extinction that surely awaits it. Edward Alsworth Ross. The Old World in the New (page 304)
History is a fragment of biology ... Therefore the laws of biology are the fundamental lessons of history. Will Durant. The Lessons of History (1968)
Race is everything; there is no other truth. And every race must fall which carelessly suffers its blood to become mixed Benjamin Disraeli (Former British Prime Minister), Coningsby (1844)
European history has been written in terms of nationality and of language, but never before in terms of race; yet race has played a far larger part than either language or nationality in moulding the destinies of men; race implies heredity and heredity implies all the moral, social and intellectual characteristics and traits which are the springs of politics and government. Madison Grant. The Passing of the Great Race (1918)
The history of the world is the history, not of individuals, but of groups, not of nations, but of races, and he who ignores or seeks to override the race idea in human history ignores and overrides the central thought of all history. W.E.B. Du Bois. The Conservation of Races
Beyond the individuality of the person there is the individuality of the whole people ... I cannot tell simply from the race of an individual what he will do in a definite case; but I can, for example, with great certainty prophesy how a large number of Italians, as a collective body, or an equal number of Norwegians will act in a definite case. Houston Stewart Chamberlain, The Foundations of the Nineteenth Century
Race prejudice is a gift of nature, intended to preserve in purity the various divisions of mankind which the ages have evolved H. P. Lovecraft
My own feelings about race are precisely the same as 95 percent of the people of my generation... If the British soldiers on the beaches of Normandy in 1944 could look forward to the end of the century and see what England has become, they would not have bothered to advance another 40 yard up the beach. David Irving (British Historian)
The man of an era of dissolution which mixes the races together and who therefore contains within him the inheritance of a diversified descent, that is to say contrary and often not merely contrary drives and values which struggle with one another and rarely leave one another in peace - such a man of late cultures and broken lights will, on average, be a rather weak man: his fundamental desire is that the war which he is should come to an end; happiness appears to him, in accord with a sedative medicine... Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil
Consult the entire history of the human world in all past ages, and you will find that the world has ever belonged to the pure breed and has never belonged to the mongrel. I give you this as a challenge: Read up your history of the human race. ... Read up your history. It is all there on the shelves. ... And find me one race that has retained its power of civilization, culture, and creativeness, after it mongrelized itself. Jack London
There is scarcely a group, clan, tribe, or nation which does not show a strong desire to preserve its identity and purity. The severest persecutions of the Jews for the last two thousand years could not induce them to give up their identity. Wherever we observe life, from the hyphomycetes to the noble horse, says Chamberlain (The Foundations of the Nineteenth Century), we see the importance of race. Free crossing obliterates character, says Darwin (Plants and Animals under Domestication.) Crossing ruins the race, and the guiding principle of every race is the preservation of its identity. B. S. Talmey, "Female Chastity, Its Psychology and Eugenics". Quoted in American Medicine, Volume 23 (1917)
The America of the future, they believe, belongs to the new breed of men which will arise from the glorious intermixture of ethnic odds and ends thrown together from every corner of the earth, blinding themselves to the evidence that this HAS BEEN the general course of events throughout the world, in Latin America, the Mediterranean and Near East regions, in southern Asia, and nowhere is the plight of their precious humanity so desperate as in these same areas.
On the other hand, the peoples which have saved themselves from extreme out-breeding — the Germanic Caucasian, the Chinese, the Japanese — are similarly the ones which aspire to greatness. One would think that just a general consideration of ethnic patterns and their related social conditions in the modern world would suggest unfavourable consequences of mixed-breeding. Any supposedly intelligent person who is awake to historical events, and to situations as they exist today, and still supports the hybrid race theory is simply a man who is either dishonest and untrustworthy, or in his naivete has no talent for facts. Wayne Macleod, The Importance of Race in Civilization

It is related that a certain noted Englishwoman, on a recent visit to the United States, expressed a lively admiration, mingled with surprise, for the beautiful figures of American girls. "After centuries of shaping bodies into the lines of an hourglass she said it amazed her that such figures survive". She need not have been amazed. Tight lacing is a national characteristic. Waist lines are racial.

Henry Pratt Fairchild. The Melting-Pot Mistake (1923)
What is needed is not a pure race, but a strong one, which has a nation within it. ... A man wants stout sons who will perpetuate his name and his deeds beyond his death into the future and enhance them, just as he has done himself through feeling himself heir to the calling and works of his ancestors. That is the Nordic idea of immortality. Oswald Spengler, The Hour of Decision
It is right to be proud of your race and to want to preserve it, just as it is right to be proud of your family and want to preserve it. Race exists just as much as family exists, and in much the same way. It is simply a wider form of relationship. Of course, a lot of nonsense is talked about race as about most of the great truths of nature. It is exaggerated nonsense both ways. Oswald Mosley
On the New England Coast the English blood was as pure as in any part of Britain; in New York and New Jersey it was mixed with that of the Dutch settlers - and the Dutch are by race nearer to the true old English of Alfred and Harold than are, for example, the thoroughly Anglicized Welsh of Cornwall. Otherwise, the infusion of new blood into the English race [more accurately, English amalgam] on this side of the Atlantic has been chiefly from three sources - German, Irish, and Norse; and these three sources represent the elemental parts of the composite English stock in about the same proportions in which they were originally combined - mainly Teutonic, largely Celtic, and with a Scandinavian admixture. The descendant of the German becomes as much an Anglo-American as the descendant of the Strathclyde Celt has already become an Anglo-Briton.

It must always be kept in mind that the Americans and the British are two substantially similar branches of the great English race, which both before and after their separation have assimilated, and made Englishmen of many other peoples. Theodore Roosevelt, The Naval War of 1812

A perfectly stupid race can never rise to a very high plane; the negro, for instance, has been kept down as much by lack of intellectual development as by anything else; but the prime factor in the preservation of a race is its power to attain a high degree of social efficiency. Love of order, ability to fight well and breed well, capacity to subordinate the interests of the individual to the interests of the community, these and similar rather humdrum qualities go to make up the sum of social efficiency. The race that has them is sure to overturn the race whose members have brilliant intellects, but who are cold and selfish and timid, who do not breed well or fight well, and who are not capable of disinterested love of the community. In other words, character is far more important than intellect to the race as to the individual. We need intellect, and there is no reason why we should not have it together with character; but if we must choose between the two we choose character without a moment's hesitation

Theodore Roosevelt. From a book review "Social Evolution" by Benjamin Kidd. Quoted in The North American Review (1895), Volume 161.
The number of purely white people in the world is proportionably very small. All Africa is black or tawny. Asia chiefly tawny. America (exclusive of the new comers) wholly so. And in Europe, the Spaniards, Italians, French, Russians and Swedes are generally of what we call a swarthy complexion; as are the Germans also, the Saxons only excepted, who with the English make the principal body of white people on the face of the earth. I could wish their numbers were increased. And while we are, as I may call it, scouring our planet, by clearing America of woods, and so making this side of our globe reflect a brighter light to the eyes of inhabitants in Mars or Venus, why should we in the sight of superior beings, darken its people? Why increase the sons of Africa, by planting them in America, where we have so fair an opportunity, by excluding all blacks and tawneys, of increasing the lovely white and red? But perhaps I am partial to the complexion of my Country, for such kind of partiality is natural to Mankind. Benjamin Franklin. Observations Concerning the Increase of Mankind, Peopling of Countries, etc.
When a race which produces original thought breeds with a race which produces little or no original thought, the resulting breed is a failure. Richard Kelly Hoskins, Our Nordic Race (1958)
If the race is good, so is the place. Ralph Waldo Emerson. English Traits
There is a cropping-time in the races of men, as in the fruits of the field; and sometimes, if the stock be good, there springs up for a time a succession of splendid men; and then comes a period of barrenness. Aristotle
And God proclaims as a first principle to the rulers, and above all else, that there is nothing which they should so anxiously guard, or of which they are to be such good guardians, as of the purity of the race. They should observe what elements mingle in their offspring; ... Plato. Republic (380 BC)
"I see that you have in your house hunting-dogs and a number of pedigree cocks. Have you ever considered something about their unions and procreations?"
"What"? he said.
"In the first place," I said, "among these themselves, although they are a select breed, do not some prove better than the rest?"
"They do." [he replied]
"Do you then breed from all indiscriminately, or are you careful to breed from the best?"
"From the best." [he replied]
"And, again, do you breed from the youngest or the oldest, or, so far as may be, from those in their prime?"
"From those in their prime." [he replied]
"And if they are not thus bred, you expect, do you not, that your birds and hounds will greatly degenerate?"
"I do," he said.
"And what of horses and other animals?" I said; "is it otherwise with them?"
"It would be strange if it were," said he.
"Gracious," said I, "dear friend, how imperative, then, is our need of the highest skill in our rulers, if the principle holds also for mankind." Plato. Republic (380 BC)
France is a good example of how religious intolerance has diminished Germanic numbers, since it was this blood that mainly composed the unsuccessful Huguenot Rebellion. Then, too, during the French Revolution it was enough for a suspect to have fair hair to relate him with the hated aristocracy. But it was the Napoleonic Wars that really put under way the degermanization of that country. Millions of its best inhabitants were killed, while with the wars of this century, mainly Nordic elements from the northern provinces filled the first ranks in combat. To make good the population losses, succeeding governments have encouraged the immigration of Mediterraneans. Southern Italians, Algerians, Armenians, and even Negroes now fill the countryside, to such an extent that in some places it is difficult to find a French name, not to mention a genuine Frenchman. How vain are the cries and attempts of DeGaulle, who himself is part German, towards a resurgence of "le grandeur"?! Wayne MacLeod, The Importance of Race in Civilization (1968)
The race of the Hellenes has been wiped out in Europe. Physical beauty, intellectual brilliance, innate harmony and simplicity, art, competition, city, village, the splendour of column and temple - indeed, even the name has disappeared from the surface of the Greek continent.... Not the slightest drop of undiluted Hellenic blood flows in the veins of the Christian population of present-day Greece. Jakob Philipp Fallmerayer. History of the Morea Peninsula during the Middle Ages (1830)
Soul means race seen from within. And, conversely, race is the external side of a soul. Alfred Rosenberg, The Myth of the 20th Century
They preach, "Enjoy yourself. You ought to have a good time. You're on earth to have a good time."
No, we are not on earth to have a good time. We are only individuals. We are on earth to serve that which is eternal in us, and the only eternal thing in anybody is the race. You are immortal if you have children. And children of your own kind. You are immortal if you have works. Savitri Devi, And Time Rolls On
Must civilization always lead to the limitation of families and consequent decay and then replacement from barbaric sources which in turn will go through the same experience? Charles Galton Darwin. The Next Million Years
We see how unfounded is the assumption that the early Egyptians were of African Negro extraction. Yet the remoteness of the first interbreeding with the Negro is well calculated to have led some authorities astray. It is as if some future archaeologist should explore the ruins of present day Washington, find that one-fourth of its inhabitants were Negroes, and conclude that the Americans of the great civilization were of Negro extraction. The proportion of the Negro here would be twelve times as great as in Ancient Egypt. Should he attribute the civilization of America to the Negro because of these remains? Would not the archaeologist be in keeping with American history if he stated that the Negro resided in America, enjoyed the emoluments of its civilization, but did not contribute an impulse to its progress? Earnest Sevier Cox. White America (1923)
It was the half-castes of Haiti who fomented the murder of the whites. The mixbreeds of Haiti, as the mixbreeds elsewhere, turned to the blacks when refused equality with the whites. The Indian and the Negro give but little trouble to the whites; the agent of unrest is the disgruntled and touchy mixbreed. Grant the mixbreed equalization with the white and he becomes a cruel oppressor of the black. This was true in South and Central America, in Africa, and notably true in the United States prior to 1865, where an increasing number of mulattoes, quadroons and octoroons were slave owners and had become the fieriest upholders of slavery.
Deny the partly black full and unrestricted access to the white man's homes and daughters and you transform him into the bitterest enemy of the white man. Were it not for the super-sensitive mongrels of North America, there would be no clamor for "equality" of races; nor would there be any eminent "Negroes." Booker Washington was a mulatto, Frederick Douglas was a mulatto. Bruce, Turner, DuBois, Miller; these are not Negroes! Were they white men they would be obscure, but by social custom and by law they are recognized to be Negroes, and as such they stand at the head of their race. Earnest Sevier Cox. White America (1923)
From the corruption of women proceeds the confusion of races; from the confusion of races, the loss of memory; from the loss of memory, all understanding; and from this -- all evil. Bhagavad Gita

A nation does not derive its value from its [geographical] position; it never has and never will. On the contrary, it is the people which has always given - and always will give - to the land its moral, economic, and political value.

Arthur de Gobineau. An Essay on the Inequality of the Human Races (1854)
The wish to preserve one's own identity and the identity of one's nation requires no justification and no belief in racial or national superiority any more than the wish to have one's own children, and to continue one's own family through them, need be justified or rationalized by a belief that they are superior to the children of others. Senator Strom Thurmond, debating in the U.S. Senate, 17th September 1965
Mulatto, n. A child of two races, ashamed of both. Ambrose Bierce, The Devil's Dictionary
If a man acknowledges the facts of race, he is a racist. I suppose if he acknowledges the facts of sex he is a sexist. The Mankind Quarterly, July 1963, pp. 12-27
First of all, I place racial homogeneity. Every enduring society of the greatest cultural significance has been homogeneous. By its isolation on a peninsula, or on an island, or in a closed river valley, or by the will of its rulers, it has avoided mixing its blood with the blood of aliens. Moreover, the whole population has been held under the impress of the same values for centuries. This was the pattern followed in all the great cultures of the past. The result was a people very much one, in blood, traditions, values, and goals.

[Critics] go far beyond a mere acknowledgment of the facts. They go on to maintain, (1) that no people has ever become a great people and produced a significant and durable culture except as it first took and long preserved precisely this attitude of aloofness that we have under discussion; and (2) that as soon as its exclusiveness was relaxed and it began to intermarry freely with aliens, it declined as a people and its culture withered. That these two things do stand together, it seems to me that a careful student of history can hardly deny. William Gayley Simpson, Which Way Western Man? (1978)
An Aryan is an Aryan. An Oriental is an Oriental. And an African is an African. Thus constitutes the three primary races of Homo Sapiens. Hominid Caucasoid, Hominid Africans and Hominid Orientalis. All other races are Mongoloid hybrids of these three races. Vor Forn Sidr (Our Ancient Religion)
The last race to keep its form, the last living tradition, the last leaders who have both at their back, will pass through and onward, victors. Oswald Spengler, The Decline of the West
This alliance with foreign races means nothing but death to us. It is our turn to guard our heritage ... before we become engulfed in a limitless foreign sea. ... We can have peace and security only so long as we band together to preserve that most priceless possession, our inheritance of European blood, only so long as we guard ourselves against attack by foreign armies and dilution by foreign races. Charles A. Lindbergh. Aviation, Geography, and Race.
If a nation with a more advanced, more specialized, or in any way superior set of genes mingles with, instead of exterminating, an inferior tribe, then it commits racial suicide, and destroys the work of thousands of years of biological isolation and natural selection. Roger Pearson, Eugenics and Race (Institute for the Study of Man, 1967)
The dying out of racial instincts means the same thing to an individual as it does to a race, people, nation, State, Culture: unfruitfulness, lack of will-to-power, lack of ability to believe in or follow great aims, lack of inner discipline, desire for a life of ease and pleasure. Francis Parker Yockey, Imperium: The Philosophy of History and Politics
Southerners knew:
1) that the world was overwhelmingly non-white,
2) that only a racist mentality kept the third world from overwhelming the white world.
To change our racial attitudes would be suicide. Bob Whitaker
The White race has suffered invasions and brutality from Africa and Asia for thousands of years. For example, Attila and the Asiatic Huns who invaded Europe in the 5th century, raping, plundering and killing from the Alps to the Baltic and the Caspian Seas. This scenario was repeated by the Mongols of Genghis Khan 800 years later. (Note here that the American Indians are not "Native Americans", but are racially Mongolians.) In the 8th century, hundreds of years before Negroes were brought to America, the North African Moors of mixed racial background invaded and conquered Portugal, Spain and part of France. So, the attempted guilt-trip placed on the White race by civilization's executioners is invalid under both historical circumstance and the Natural Law which denies inter-specie compassion. The fact is, all races have benefited immeasurably from the creative genius of the Aryan people. David Lane
If our buildings, our highways, our railroads should be wrecked we could rebuild them. If our cities should be destroyed out of the very ruins we could erect newer and greater ones. Even if our armed might should be crushed, we could rear sons who could redeem our power. But if the blood of our White race should become corrupted and mingled with the blood of Africa, then the present greatness of the United States of America would be destroyed and all hope for the future would be gone forever. U.S. Senator Theodore G. Bilbo (1947)
The early and relatively sophisticated Egyptians understood that their civilization would be threatened if they bred with the Negroes to their south, so pharaohs went so far as "to prevent the mongrelization of the Egyptian race" by making it a death penalty-eligible offense to bring blacks into Egypt. The ancient Egyptians even constructed a fort on the Nile in central Egypt to prevent blacks from immigrating to their lands. In spite of the efforts by the Egyptian government to defend their civilization, blacks still came to Egypt as soldiers, slaves, and captives from other nations. By 1,500 B.C., half of the population of southern Egypt was of mixed blood, and by 688 B.C., societal progress had ended in Egypt when Taharka became the first mulatto pharaoh. By 332 B.C., Egypt had fallen when Alexander the Great conquered the region. Kyle Bristow (The Conscience of a Right-Winger, Pg.94)
The highest civilization and culture, apart from the ancient Hindus and Egyptians, are found exclusively among the white races; and even with many dark peoples, the ruling caste or race is fairer in colour than the rest and has, therefore, evidently immigrated, for example, the Brahmans, the Incas, and the rulers of the South Sea Islands. All this is due to the fact that necessity is the mother of invention because those tribes that emigrated early to the north, and there gradually became white, had to develop all their intellectual powers and invent and perfect all the arts in their struggle with need, want and misery, which in their many forms were brought about by the climate. This they had to do in order to make up for the parsimony of nature and out of it all came their high civilization. Arthur Schopenhauer (1851)
Ancient Egypt is possibly one of the clearest-cut cases of the iron law of nature which says that if a society which has produced a particular civilization stays intact as a racially homogeneous unit, then that civilization remains active.
If, however, the society within any particular area changes its racial makeup - through invasion, immigration, or decline in numbers - then the civilization which that society has produced will disappear with them, to be replaced by a new civilization reflecting the new inhabitants of that territory.
The lesson of egypt is plain to see, and all white nations of the world do well to learn from this ancient example - otherwise the fate of present-day Egypt awaits them as well. Arthur Kemp, The Children of Ra: Artistic, Historical, and Genetic Evidence for Ancient White Egypt
To claim that ancient Egypt was black in origin is tantamount to claiming that the cities of Detroit or Washington DC in the US were founded by blacks "because their present-day populations are majority black and they have black mayors." Arthur Kemp, The Children of Ra: Artistic, Historical, and Genetic Evidence for Ancient White Egypt
I contend that we [Anglo-Saxons] are the first race in the world, and that the more of the world we inhabit the better it is for the human race. Cecil Rhodes
It is entirely possible to have inferior elements weeded out of a population just as surely as if selection had taken place in a laboratory, or breeding farm; and the more arduous the struggle, the more drastic the selection. Migration, nomadism, persecution and barbarian warfare have not been experienced by all peoples with equal intensity; some populations have never undergone migration, nor nomadism, some are sedentary and peaceful, while others have had their whole tribes subjected to total war. Since these selective forces have played unequally upon various segments of the human family, can there be any doubt that the races ensuing from these forces are also unequal? Wayne MacLeod, The Importance of Race in Civilization
Not all children have an equal home life in the formative years. The sins and virtues of the father are visited upon his offspring. Both heredity and early environment are unequal. ... Few of us are so fortunate as not to be surpassed in both heredity and environment by someone else, which gives meaning to the old saying: "Life's not in holding a good hand, but in playing a poor one well." In similar fashion, in the case of race, the sins and virtues of our racial forbears are visited upon their descendants. ... Both the black and the white child receive a legacy which is a mixture of family and racial heredity and environment. Society can no more make them equal as to the racial component than it can make them equal as to the family component. Carleton Putnam, Race and Reason
Undoubtedly an individual or group, taken out of the cultural environment of their own race and brought up in that of another, will sometimes absorb some features of the culture of the new environment, but in such instances they become parasites upon the culture of the second race. They are carried up, or carried down, as the case may be, by the overwhelming impact of the environment of the second race. Their own capacity to contribute to, and to sustain, a culture can only be judged by the performance of their own race in its native habitat. And if that capacity is low, then too many of them, too freely integrated, must inevitably in the long run lower the culture of the second race. Carleton Putnam, Race and Reason

Race and Civilization

[I am] inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa [because] all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours - whereas all the testing says not really. ... There is no firm reason to anticipate that the intellectual capacities of peoples geographically separated in their evolution should prove to have evolved identically. Our wanting to reserve equal powers of reason as some universal heritage of humanity will not be enough to make it so. James Watson, in Times Online (14 October 2007)
Remember what risk the nations of Europe ran, not so many centuries ago, of being overwhelmed by the Turks, and how ridiculous such an idea now is! The more civilised so-called Caucasian Races have beaten the Turkish hollow in the struggle for existence. Looking to the world at no very distant date, what an endless number of the lower races will have been eliminated by the higher civilized races throughout the world. Charles Darwin, in a letter to W. Graham, 1881
In most if not all of the newly independent Black nations of Africa, little if anything during the past 5000 or more years can be pointed to as having made a contribution that in any way enhances the life of man. Yet the lands of these nations are, for the most part, far more endowed with elements of riches for civilized man than many other places on earth. The Mankind Quarterly, October 1969, pp. 78-99
...the ethical system that will dominate the world-state will be shaped primarily to favor the procreation of what is fine and efficient and beautiful in humanity - beautiful and strong bodies, clear and powerful minds - and to check the procreation of base and servile type. H.G. Wells
The mention of eugenics frequently evokes in uneducated people the response 'Oh, that's what Hitler did.' This accident is the major obstacle to the proper understanding of the goals and methods of eugenics. ... [Eugenics] favors preventing births of those who would inevitably be miserable and incapable of living a normal happy life. It encourages the birth of those able to look after themselves and others, who invent and enrich the culture, who create jobs and who remain independent and self supporting. Raymond B. Cattell, The Beyondist (University of Illinois, 1994)
No doubt poverty, dirt and crime are bad assets in one's early environment. No doubt these elements cause the ruin of thousands who, by heredity, were good material of civilization. But again, poverty, dirt, and crime are the products of those, in general, who are not good material. It is not the strength of the strong, but the weakness of the weak which engenders exploitation and tyranny. The slums are at once symptom, effect and cause of evil. Every vice stands in this same threefold relation. David Starr Jordan, The Heredity Of Richard Roe
The second warning of biology to statesmanship is brief and simple: that heredity and not environment is the chief maker of men; ... that social classes, therefore, which you seek to abolish by law, are ordained by nature; that it is, in the large statistical run of things, not the slums which make slum people, but slum people who make the slums; that primarily it is not the Church which makes people good, but good people who make the church; that godly people are largely born and not made; ... if you want artists, poets, philosophers, skilled workmen and great statesmen you will have to give nature a chance to breed them. Albert Edward Wiggam, The New Decalogue Of Science. Page 43
The current attempt to deny that there is any connection between the status of a culture and the quality of its citizens does not afford convincing proof that 6000 years of historical record has – since 1950 – suddenly become invalidated, but rather that the United States is in the throes of an intellectual decline.
We have reached our depth in an understanding of cultural dynamics when what is historically and scientifically valid in the area of race relations is also socially the most inexpedient. For the sake of temporary favors, meager political gains and a heightening of their image, even some of the most self-avowed conservatives will defy time-worn laws of cultural cause and effect in support of the Communist's own disguised doctrine, a policy which can only defeat them at their own purpose.
Americans are asked to adopt the posture of the faceless international man; to reduce themselves to their lowest cultural integer to please a generation of limp-wristed liberals and moral and intellectual elves who have momentarily seized control of their fad and opinion-molding agencies. Instead, they should reject this decadent ideology now, while anti-white propaganda has half the population afraid to come out of doors. If there is a voice that will tell all Americans within the United States to embrace their own ethnic heritage with greater pride and work to improve its integrity, quality and potential, let them follow this voice and tell other voices to take a long walk off a short pier. Kent H. Steffgen, "The Bondage of the Free" (1966)
